WHO WE ARE

As Anglicans, we are a branch of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Jesus Christ. The word `Anglican' refers to our heritage and roots in the Church of England.

We uphold historic Catholic faith, Apostolic order, and Evangelical  witness as set forth in the 1928 American edition of the Book of Common Prayer.  Our services continue the dignified liturgy of this historic book.

Our faith is based on the Word of God found in Holy Scripture, as interpreted by the universally accepted Ecumenical Councils held by the whole Christian Church before any divisions took place. We have not changed these essentials to conform to modern, secularizing trends.

We are a member Church of the world-wide Traditional Anglican Communion with branches in the USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, India, and Central & South America, Japan, the Torres Straight, and South Africa.

St. Patrick is a parish in the Diocese of the Missouri Valley of the Anglican Church in America, the US branch of the Traditional Anglican Communion.
